On Etna, each plot has such unique characteristics that just a few meters of distance between one parcel and another are enough to give life to wines with significantly different personalities. The vibrant energy of the volcano changes from lava flow to lava flow and draws unique landscapes, making every soil of each contrada different. The attention given to the vines, the grapes, and their evolution in the cellar aim to underline these traits of the contrada that Nerello Mascalese expresses. We will taste our 4 Contrada wines: Pianodario, Rampante, Sciaranuova and Sciaranuova Vigna Vecchia, four different interpretations of Nerello Mascalese.
