Guided tasting in Sallier de La Tour Estate
In this experience you will have the chance to immerse yourself in the quiet atmosphere of Sallier de La Tour, an oasis of peace a few kilometers away from Palermo. By tasting the wines produced here you will not only discover the territory of the DOC Monreale but you will also experience the Estate firsthand; from the historic Art Nouveau cellar to the vineyards perched on the hills. Together we will taste wines resulting from native Sicilian varieties such as Inzolia, Grillo and Nero d'Avola but we will also focus on an international variety that is now well established in this landscape: Syrah. A vine that has integrated and adapted to the climate of Sallier de La Tour, acquiring some Mediterranean notes. We will taste it in the three versions produced here in the Estate: La Monaca, Madamarosè and Syrah.
To complete the experience we will taste the 5 extra virgin olive oils produced in our 5 Estates, thought and produced with the same passion we give to wine.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
- Guided tour of the historic winery La Monaca and of the barrel cellar*
- Stroll in the vineyards together with the hospitality manager
- Guided tasting of the 6 wines produced in the Estate
- Tasting of our 5 extra virgin olive oils
- The tasting will be accompanied by a selection of seasonal and local products, such as: olives, cheese and charcuterie (please note that the offer may vary according to the season)**
