FOUR-COURSE LUNCH WITH WINE TASTING AND ESTATE TOUR
The experience begins with a visit to the spectacular terraced vineyards of Tenuta Tascante, in Contrada Pianodario, where Nerello Mascalese thrives among enchanting dry-stone walls—emblems of Etna’s heroic viticulture. Here, more than 8,000 linear metres of volcanic stone shape the landscape, supporting the vines and patiently outlining the borders of each plot. Lunch is prepared with seasonal produce from the Estate’s garden, located 800 metres above sea level, together with specialities selected from small local producers. A concrete focus on short supply chains, reflecting Tasca d’Almerita’s commitment to preserving and enhancing Sicily’s natural and human heritage.
Each course is paired with a tasting of four wines from the Estate, expressing the richness and variety of the volcano’s winemaking tradition.
