Sicily and Tasca d’Almerita wines at Tascante

Guided tasting in Tascante Estate
Walking across historic vineyards and traditional terraces at the foothill of Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe, we will accompany you on a tasting journey to discover the Sicilian “continent” and the history of our family.

You will taste 5 emblematic wines from our 5 estates, savoring the incredible diversity of the wine and agricultural landscape of the region. Starting from the islands of Salina and Mozia, you will taste Didyme, Capofaro's Malvasia IGT Sicilia and our Grillo from Whitaker Estate; we will then move to the DOC Monreale with La Monaca, the Syrah of Sallier de La Tour, reaching the slopes of Etna with the Nerello Mascalese of Contrada Pianodario, one of the most evocative vineyards of Tascante Estate — as you’ll be able to tell by visiting it. The journey will end in Regaleali, the historic family Estate, with Rosso del Conte, a blend of Nero d'Avola and Perricone born in 1970.

To complete the discovery journey of Tasca’s world, we’ll taste 5 extra virgin olive oils, one for each Estate, thought and produced with the same passion we give to wine.

- Guided tour of the Palmento, the traditional and historic cellar
- Stroll among the vineyards of Contrada Pianodario, together with the hospitality manager
- Guided tasting of 5 wines, representative of our Estates
- Tasting of Tasca D'Almerita Olive Oil
- The tasting will be accompanied by a selection of seasonal and local products, such as: olives, cheese and charcuterie (please note that the offer may vary according to the season)**
